I'm sure she'll correct me if I'm wrong. When my sister Bridget took this photo, these horses were dying for a drop of water. The overgrown old bath tub they were orbiting had a broken hose pipe and was empty and dry. She used a little ingenuity and the water began to flow. Even though they were terrified of her thier need for water settled them long enough to give her time to get close enough to snap a few shots.
Knowing this you can see the tension in their ears and eyes.
I sold this picture to my sister neighbor who gave it to his daughter for her 21st birthday.
